PURPOSE: To perform trimming and straightening of products simultaneously and improve working efficiency by reverse operating the product plunger punch internally fitted into the punch of a press slide faster than the operating speed of the press slide.

CONSTITUTION: A burred product blank material is carried onto a blanking die 3 with a lower blade and a press slide 1 is lowered. Thence, a lever 14 is turned in the direction of the arrow A by the rotation of the cam 13 on an eccentric shaft 12 turned to the slide 1 and the energizing force of a cylinder 19, thereby moving upward a piston rod 18 in a hydraulic cylinder 17 slightly faster than the descending speed of the slide 1. Therefore, the chamber 10' of a cylinder device 10 piped to the chamber 17' of the cylinder 17 assumes negative pressure, and a plunger punch 8 moves freely upward, thereby blanking burrs. Thence, the slide 1 begins to ascend and the lever 14 turns in the direction of the arrow B. The revolution thereof is transmitted to the cylinder 17 via a link 16 and forces down the piston rod 18 slightly faster than the ascending speed of the slide 1, so that the high pressure oil is fed to a cylinder device 10 which in turn moves a piston 9 downward, thereby screwing down and straightening a product 4 by means of the plunger punch 8.
