To provide a blast furnace bell capable of keeping a good air-tightness for a long period of time while suppressing the wear of a seat surface in contact with a bell cup in the bell being a furnace top charging apparatus of a blast furnace for holding iron-making raw materials in a space formed with the bell and the bell cup and dropping down the iron-making raw materials by suitably descending the bell.

In this way, a large quantity of iron-making raw materials 30 slipping down the slipping surface 2 are dropped down by jumping from the stepping part 5 and flying across the seat surface 4.
