To increase the strength of a joined part between a tubular member and a circular bar-shaped member joined to each other in a crossed shape and improve an aesthetic appearance.
This blind nut 20 is fixed to one side wall of a coping member 10 as a tubular member to join the coping member to a column member 30 as the circular bar-like member in the crossed shape. The blind nut comprises a female screw part 21 with which a column member can be threaded and a holding tubular part 23 to which the column member can be fitted, and is fixedly caulked to one side wall of the tubular member by an annular flange part 25 formed at the opening edge of the holding tube part and an annular projection 26 raised outward from the side wall of the holding tubular part. Also, the holding tubular part is formed larger in diameter than the female screw part, and a step part 22 between the female screw part and the holding tubular part is formed flat. Thus, when the male screw part of the column member is threaded to the female screw part of the blind nut, the tip face of the bar-like body is abutted on the step part of a stepped sleeve, and the tip part of the bar-like body is fitted to the holding tubular part, the tubular member can be joined to the circular bar member in the crossed state.
