Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject copolymer capable of being made to be a self- crosslinked polymer solid electrolyte not swollen or dissolved in any electrolyte if crosslinked with electron beans, by making the copolymer include two kinds of specific block chains in a specified ratio.
SOLUTION: This copolymer comprises (A) one or more block chains each comprising repeating units of formula I [R1 is H, methyl, ethyl; R2 is H, methyl; R3 is an alkyl, an aryl, an acyl, etc.; (n) is 1-100; the graft chain of formula II in formula I has a number-average mol.wt. of 45-4400] having a polymerization degree of ≥10 and (B) one or more block chains each comprising repeating units of formula III [R4 is H, methyl, ethyl; (n) is 2, 3] having a polymerization degree of ≥200 in an A:B ratio of 1:20 to 20:1, and has a polymerization degree of ≥210. In the copolymer the block chains A and B are arranged in an arbitrary order such as AB, BAB, BAB' or BAB'AB. The copolymer has a self- crosslinking property.
