Title:
BLOCKING SENSOR FOR FLEXIBLE DUCTS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3281955
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To detect blocking force to a flexible fluid duct, by equipping a touch member arm part to cooperate with a force sensitive plunger to engage or separate a pair od contact members corresponding to application of minimum force to the plunger and placing the plunger in a sensor gap through which the duct extends.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary blocking sensor arm part 780 to cooperate with a sensor system 700 includes a protruding presser member 782 extending through an opening 784 in a plate member 704 and acts so as to clamp the flexible duct in a sensor gap 720. The force member 782 of the blocking arm part 780 does not give sufficient clamp force through a flexible duct in the sensor gap 720 and the sensor system 700 does not register the blocked condition until the clamp force is given and clearly judges the blocking condition of the duct. The sensor system 700 can use various sizes of ducts and clearly detects the blocking condition when the deviation of the spring 32 is sufficient to block the duct.
