Title:
BLOOD VESSEL ANASTOMOSING TOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3514513
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an anastomosing tool which holds anastomosed blood vessels until the blood vessels are conglutinated, and which becomes extinct after the conglutination.
CONSTITUTION: In blood vessel anastomosing tools 1a, 1b, plate like molding 2, 2 are formed therein with through holes 4 in which ends of blood vessels are inserted. Each of the moldings 2 is provided with connecting pins 5 for holding the opposing end parts of the blood vessels inserted in the through holes 4 between the moldings 2, and pin insertion holes 6, the moldings 2, 2 are held by a forceps having a flat surface, for clamping the moldings 2 at their outer peripheral surfaces so as to connect the blood vessels. Then, the end parts of the blood vessels are anastomosed. After the anastomosis, the end parts of the blood vessels are held by the moldings 2, 2 until they are conglutinated. The moldings 2, and the connecting pins 5 are made of a resin which can be decomposed in vivo. That is, the resin is a copolymer of lactic acid and glycolic acid which are polymerized at a molar ratio of 7:3. The coupling pins are made of a synthetic resin which has a number-average molecular weight and a weight-average molecular weight that are greater than those of the moldings, and which are degradable in vivo.
