Title:
BLOWBY GAS PASSAGE FOR ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3832531
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a pumping loss, to effect sufficient ventilation of a crank chamber and the interior of an oil pan, and to reduce the occurrence of deterioration of lubrication oil and an influence by rust.
SOLUTION: A through-hole 23 is formed in a journal housing 10 in parallel to a journal shaft, the through-hole 23 forms a uniform pressure hole, the pressure fluctuation of each crank chamber is reduced, and a pumping loss is reduced. The through-hole 23, a first blowby gas passage 18, and a second blowby gas passage 19 are intercommunicated in the through-hole 23. Blowby gas in a crank chamber is sucked to ventilate a crank chamber, and the lower end 181 of a first blowy gas passage 18 is opened to an oil pan 17, and the interior of the oil pan 17 is positively ventilated. This constitution performs high-efficient ventilation of the crank chamber and the interior of the oil pan 17, and reduces the occurrence of deterioration of lubrication and an influence by rust.
