To improve positioning accuracy of a scroll casing, in an air conditioner for a vehicle for adjusting blow-off air temperature by adjusting air capacity ratio of air capacity passed through an evaporator by rotating the scroll casing to air capacity passed through a heater core.
A part of the scroll casing 2b or an end of a driven gear section 2f is collided with stopper sections 2g and 2k disposed in a fan casing 2e, thereby positioning the scroll casing 2b. Thus, when the rotation amount of an actuator, namely a driving gear 2d, on the basis of the mechanically determined position is controlled, the rotating position of the scroll casing 2b can be positioned accurately. Further, the temperature of air blowing into a room can be controlled accurately.
