PURPOSE: To correctly diagnose only the performance change of a blower by calculating the blower efficiency based on measurement results at various parts of the blower, comparing the calculation value with the reference value to evaluate the performance deterioration of the blower, and displaying the evaluation result.
CONSTITUTION: Discharge pressure measuring seats 10A and 10B are arranged on output sides of a centrifugal blower 1 and an axial blower 20 respectively, intake pressure measuring seats 12A and 12B are arranged on input sides respectively, measurement signals 11A, 11B, 13A, 13B are inputted to a performance calculating device 23. The performance calculating device 23 converts the measured static pressure differences into the wind quantity, fluid temperature, intake damper opening and shaft rotating speed in the reference state and calculates the blower efficiency. It is compared with the blower efficiency in the initial reference state to evaluate the performance change of the blower. The evaluation result is recorded by a recording device 24 and displayed on a screen display unit 25.
