Abstract:
To provide a blower that can be miniaturized and improved in efficiency, and to provide a washing machine including the same.SOLUTION: A blower includes: an electric motor 100; a rotation shaft 101 provided in the electric motor 100 so as to be rotatable; a centrifugal impeller 300 provided in the rotation shaft 101; a diffuser vane 401 provided at an outer periphery of the centrifugal impeller 300; and a scroll flow passage 70 provided downstream of the centrifugal impeller 300. The scroll flow passage 70 is disposed in an axial direction of the rotation shaft 101 and on an electric motor installation side where the electric motor 100 is installed relative to the centrifugal impeller 300.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
