Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower for avoiding air jetted therefrom from being mixed with dust.SOLUTION: A blower 1 includes a body 2 consisting of a body part 5 incorporating a motor 4, and a spiral type blowing part 7 incorporating a centrifugal fan 6 and having a cylindrical jetting port 24, and a dust removal part 3 detachably mounted on the body 2. The dust removal part 3 is mounted thereon at the upstream side of the centrifugal fan 6, and so dust is removed by the dust removal part 3 at the upstream side of the centrifugal fan 6 and air from which the dust is removed is jetted from the jetting port 24, thereby avoiding a jetting site from being fouled by the dust. Besides, the dust removal part 3 has a dust collection case 42, a cylindrical suction port 74 communicated with the inside of the dust collection case 42 is provided in the dust collection case 42, and the jetting port 24 and the suction port 74 are arranged side by side in the same direction. So, either when using a jetted air flow or when using a sucked air flow to collect dust, the blower 1 can be used in the same attitude and in the similar way.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
