To provide a humidifier having a blowout structure that can humidify a broad range of an indoor space without wetting a floor or the like.

The humidifier includes, in a frame body 1, a water tank 3 to which water is fed from a tank 2, a humidification air generating means 4 receiving water supplied from the water tank 3 and generating humidification air, a humidifying chamber 5 to which the generated humidification air is supplied, and a humidification guide cylinder 7 to which the humidification air is fed from the humidifying chamber 5 by an air stream from a blower 6. The humidifier includes a cap 9 disposed on the upper opening 8 of the humidification guide cylinder 7. The cap 9 includes a cylindrical nozzle 10 protruding upward from a blowout port 9a for the humidification air. In the inlet side of the nozzle 10, an upper plate 10a and a lower plate 10b are disposed in parallel with each other with an inclination angle made coincident with each other. The inclination angle of the upper plate 10a is changed halfway along the upward course and the inclination angle is set to make the upper plate 10a approach the lower plate 10b in the outlet side of the nozzle 10. Thereby, the humidification air sent to the nozzle 10 is guided by the upper plate 10a and the lower plate 10b to form humidification air streams blowing out at angles to cross each other on extended lines from the outlet of the nozzle 10.
