Title:
BLUE BACK SIGNAL PROCESSING CIRCUIT FOR VTR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3291438
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and to suppress a deteriorated image by eliminating the need for provision of a simple filter at an output stage.
SOLUTION: When the blue back mode is designated, an OSD-IC24 provides the output of a blue back signal. The blue back signal is given to a video output terminal 34 and to a Y/C separate circuit 20 via a changeover switch 14a and a luminance signal processing circuit 18. The blue back signal is Y/C- separated in the circuit 20. Then a luminance signal and a chrominance signal are outputted respectively from the luminance signal processing circuit 18 and a chrominance signal processing circuit 22 as through-signals and given to superimposing circuits 26a, 26b. The superimposing circuits 26a, 26b stop the operation in the blue back mode and a blue back luminance signal and a blue back chrominance signal subjected to Y/C separation are outputted from S output terminals 32a, 32b.
