PURPOSE: To enable the use of the whole of a board surface for a memorandum with a drum rotated and to make the device compact by a construction wherein the drum having the board surface formed on the periphery is held rotatably by a holding member.

CONSTITUTION: A memorandum board 1 is constructed of a cylindrical drum 2 and a holding member 3 holding the drum 2 in the horizontal direction rotatably. The drum 2 is constructed, for instance, by closing up openings in the opposite ends of a paper tube 4 by side plates 5a and 5b made of plastic, and a board surface 6 is formed by forming a laminate film on the peripheral surface of the drum. Engagement grooves 8 are formed in seven places at equal intervals in the peripheral end part of the side plate 5a on the left side, and a coin slot 9 is provided in the surface of the side plate 5a. Coins put in through this coin slot 9 are stored in the drum 2 and thus the drum can be used also as a savings box. Besides, the coins stored play the role of a weight and act for suppressing the rotation of the drum 2 when a memorandum is written on the board surface 6.
