Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reliably separate a substrate without exerting adverse influence on the substrate by moving a separating force applying means along a sticking surface between an auxiliary jig and a flexible thin plate-like substrate.
CONSTITUTION: When a substrate 24 is separated from an auxiliary jig 25, further squeezed ionized compressed air 14 is directly injected from an air knife 9 toward a temporary sticking seam between the substrate 24 and a sticking sheet. Therefore, the substrate 24 is reliably separated from the auxiliary jig 25. The air knife 9 is mounted on a moving mechanism 8, and moves along a sticking surface of the substrate 24. Therefore, since separating operation by the air knife 9 is continuously performed, separation can be reliably performed. Since this is separation having no mechanical contact by using wind pressure, the substrate 24 is not damaged. Since injecting air is the ionized compressed air 14, static electricity generated at separation time is neutralized, and static electricity of the substrate 24 is eliminated. Therefore, adverse influence is not exerted on a thin film electrode or the like formed on the substrate 24.
