PURPOSE: To provide a covering for a boat deck which does not require the previous removal of auxiliary fittings, lanyard anchors, winches and handrail supports, etc., existing in, for example, a sailing ship and may be easily mounted without problems afterward.

CONSTITUTION: The covering for the boat deck 10 consists of at least two layers (12, 14 and 10) to be successively applied. These layers consist of a gradually curing elastic epoxy resin, a hardener for this epoxy resin and a filler of a low density consisting of hard granular or fine portions. The production of such boat deck covering is executed by curing the lower layer of a mixture, then applying the one or plural another layers thereon and executing the coating after curing the layers respectively existing under the layers at the time of applying the relatively many layers.
