To provide a bobbin winding device capable of supplying a bobbin thread to a bobbin without detaching the bobbin from a horizontally rotating shuttle in simple constitution, and a bobbin winding amount controller.
The bobbin winding device is provided with an arm shaft clutch mechanism 140, the bobbin 22 provided with a slit 39, the horizontally rotating shuttle 4 provided with a rotating hook bobbin case holder 18 and a cone point 42, a bobbin driving member 11, a bobbin driving member moving means 94 moving the bobbin driving member 11 freely back and forth between the two of a separating position and a connecting position, a thread holding and catching member 48 provided with an upper thread holding part 59, an upper thread locking part 60 and a thread position control part 58 and normally positioned at a withdrawn position and positioned at an advanced position at the time of a thread winding operation, a thread holding and catching member moving means 53 moving the thread holding and catching member 48 freely back and forth between the two of the withdrawn position and the advanced position, and a thread winding operation control part 193 controlling the operations of each of the parts at the time of the thread winding operation.
