Abstract:
To provide an opening/closing body drive device and a door frame assembly capable of taking prompt and appropriate action when a driving force cannot be transmitted from the driving unit to the driven part.SOLUTION: The opening/closing body drive device includes: a driven part extending in a driving direction of an opening/closing body; a driving unit that drives the opening/closing body along the drive direction by driving the driven part; and a function cancellation part that is configured so as to, when transmission of the driving force from the driving unit to the driven part gets impossible, cancellate the function of the driving unit while maintaining the function of the driven part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
