Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body motion detector which is wearable, portable, and compact, can detect body motion in high precision regardless of posture of the detector, and is manufactured at low cost.
SOLUTION: Acceleration is detected by body motion sensors equipped on this body motion detector (step 111). Then, acceleration waveform processing of the detected acceleration waveform is carried out (step 112). After that, whether or not the direction of the detected acceleration waveform is a positive waveform is distinguished (step 113). The direction of the body motion sensor is determined to be a first direction when the direction of the acceleration waveform is a positive waveform (step 114). On the other hand, the direction of the body motion sensor is determined to be a second direction when the direction of the acceleration waveform is opposite to the positive waveform (step 115).
