Title:
BODY SIDE DISPLAY UNIT FOR CAR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6029349
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simply and economically mount a display board made of electric luminescence coated with flexible resin film on a body so as to improve the visibility of the body when a vehicle runs at night by sticking the display board on the surface of the body.

CONSTITUTION: A vehicle, for example, in a motor-cycle, a display board 5 made of two or more electric luminescences 5' is stuck on the side of an outer cover 4 that forms the outside of the rear of a body. The electric luminescences 5' are comprised by providing a non-heat light emitting diode 5a in moisture resistant resin film 51 and laminating a phosphor layer 54 and a reflective insulating layer 55 between electrodes 52 and 53 that are provided on the top and rear sides, respectively. Respective conductors 7 and 8 are connected to the upper and lower electrodes 52 and 53 and the connectors 7 and 8 are connected to a battery 11 through a DC/AC converter 9 and a switch 10. As a result, the visibility of the body is improved when the vihicle runs at night by applying AC between the electrodes 52 and 53 and making the phosphor layer 54 nonheat-radiated.
