Abstract:
To obtain a surface material having functionality such as antislipping property, fire resistance and hygroscopic property equivalent to those of a surface material composed of plant yarn such as cane and suitable for human body-supporting apparatus by using a plastic monofilament yarn.
The surface material 10 of the human body-supporting apparatus article is obtained by a woven or knitted fabric in which axial fiber 11 composed of plastic monofilaments having ≥200 dtex single fiber fineness is woven or knitted with weaving or knitting density which appears in a unit section (4 cm2) specified by dimension in which vertical and horizontal lengths of fabric become each 2 cm. The axial fiber 11 of at least part which appears in the unit section is covered by a multifilament yarn 12 in which the surface is constituted by a fiber having ≤20 dtex single fiber fineness. The multifilament-covered yarn 13 in which the axial fiber 11 is covered by the multifilament yarn 12 is exposed in the unit section.
