To use a body to be recorded for a full color image recording method wherein a recording liquid is discharged as liquid drops from a recording part by a selective means such as heating, and is transferred to a confronted paper to be recorded.
This body to be recorded is used for a recording method wherein a recording material and a recording liquid containing a medium which dissolves or disperses the recording material, are fed to a recording liquid flying part, and the recording liquid is made into drops, and the liquid drops are transferred to the body to be recorded which is arranged in a manner to be confronted with the recording liquid flying part (recording head). In this case, on a supporting body, an accepting layer wherein a thermoplastic high molecular substance is made the major component, and the surface pH is made 7.7 or higher, is provided.
