Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of BOG in a storage tank by closing a valve provided on a BOG discharge pipe to rapidly increase the BOG pressure in the storage tank and by injecting a liquefied gas from a liquefied gas extracting pipe in the storage tank into the liquefied gas in the storage tank to stir the gas. CONSTITUTION:A BOG (gas generated by natural evaporation) discharge pipe 2 with a pressure control valve 3 is provided in a storage tank of LNG or the like. A liquefied gas injection pipe 7 with a jet mixing nozzle 6 at the tip and a spray pipe 8 with a spray 9 at the tip are connected to the extracting pipe 4 of the liquefied gas 5. When the amount of BOG generation is required to be momentarily suppressed, the pressure control valve 3 is closed, then the pressure of the BOG layer is rapidly increased to suppress the BOG generation, and by injecting the liquefied gas through the nozzle 6 at this time the liquefied gas is stirred and the BOG is liquefied.
