To provide a device and a method enlarging a boiler and by this, optimizing and simplifying increase of capacity.
The boiler includes a device supplying secondary air and a device supplying tertiary air defined by a front wall, a rear wall, and side walls. A large portion of the secondary air and the tertiary air is supplied from the front wall and the rear wall, a space regarding the boiler for enlarging the boiler by movement of the side walls is secured, and lengths of the front wall and the rear wall are extended by this. A distance between the front wall and the rear wall after enlargement is basically the same as before enlargement, and air ports supplying additional air becoming necessary due to the enlargement are included in extension parts of the front wall and the rear wall after enlargement.
