Abstract:

To reduce the noise made during combustion and improve the efficiency of a boiler.

The boiler is provided with a combustion chamber the periphery of which is surrounded by a furnace wall; a combustion device to perform combustion by feeding fuel in the combustion chamber; and a blower 2 to feed combustion air in the combustion chamber. The periphery of a furnace wall is surrounded by a heat insulation material 5. A heat insulation material having a sound absorbing effect is used for the heat insulation material 5. A space 1 for air flow is opened in the outside of a heat insulation material layer. The outer circumference of the space 1 is surrounded by a casing 7. An air inlet opening part 8 and an air outlet opening part 9 are formed in the casing 7 surrounding the outer circumference of the space for air flow. The air outlet opening part 9 and an air intake opening 4 of the blower 2 are interconnected.
