To provide a bolt conveying device and method to smoothly convey a bolt, situated approximately at right angles with a conveyance rail containing a region not only extending horizontally but also inclining upward and inclining downward, and prevent the occurrence of damage due to collision of the bolt.
A bolt conveying device 1 is formed such that a bottle B made of synthetic resin having a neck part at which a neck flange is arranged is conveyed by hooking the neck flange at a conveyance rail and spraying gas against the part, situated above the neck flange, of the bottle B. In this case, a conveyor belt 14 making contact with the bottom of the bottle B under conveyance to a region wherein the conveyance rail is inclined upward and inclined downward is provided. The conveyance speed of the conveyor belt 14 is determined such that, in the region, the bottle B is erected approximately at right angles with the conveyance rail.
