Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fasten segments when changing bolt size by producing a socket of nut runner of a fastening machine in alignment with a maximum bolt for building a tunnel and having a size varying hardware suited to smaller bolts.
SOLUTION: For instance, a maximum bolt 1a is used for building a tunnel, and a nut 2a is tightly adhered and fitted to a socket 3 of nut runner. In this case, at the deep point of the socket 3, a ring-shaped magnet 5 is attached to attract the nut 2a. Also, a size varying hardware 4 is used for filling up the gap between the socket 3 and nut 2b. Then, a bolt hole is made in a flange portion 4f, a size varying hardware 4 is attached to the socket 3 and is fixed with a stop bolt 6. Thus, even though the bolt size for fastening between segments is changed, it is only necessary to attach the size varying hardware 4. By doing this, installation of scaffoldings is unnecessary and all segment can be fastened only by one fastening machine.
