PURPOSE: To soften a pressure-sensitive tape, to make it become compatible with the complicate surface of a work, to reduce foams and to improve the bond strength, by pressing a corresponding a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape to the surface of a material to be bonded in such a way that the material is covered with rubber lagged under heating.

CONSTITUTION: For example, the insulating plate 12 is heated by the heater 11, and the air between the rubber 17 and the insulating plate 12 is sucked by the pipe 14 so that they are bonded and the rubber 17 is heated and lagged. The chamber 9 is lowered, placed on the plate 1, and the air between the rubber 17 and the plate 1 is sucked by the pipe 7 to almost vacuum. In the operation, the air between the rubber 17 and the plate 12 is sucked to vacuum not to collapse the shape of the rubber. The air is sent from the pipe 14, the pressure between the rubber 17 and the plate 12 is raised, the work 2 is closely brought into contact with the rubber 17 and covered with it, so that the pressure-sensitive adhseive tape 4 is bonded to the surface of the work 2.
