To provide a book cover capable of easily attaching/detaching a book, preventing shaking during use, and using a hard base material, which solves the problem of a conventional book cover, i.e., book attaching/detaching takes time, the book is shaky because of a weak book holding force, and a hard base material is unusable as a book cover because a folded part is necessary.

A holding plate is fixed to the inner center of a book cover, and a cord is inserted into a hole penetrating the inside of the holding plate. Both ends of the cord are bundled into a ring shape to be inserted into the hole of a cord stopper, and a loop end is attached to the leading edge of the cord.
