To provide a book cover with marker plates, with which marks can be simultaneously put on a plurality of pages such as a road map book having expected destinations thereon.

In a book cover main body 1 made of synthetic resin sheets, it is so constituted that string laying members 12 are provided on the inner surface side of both the longitudinal ends of the back cover covering part 8 of this book cover main body 1 so as to abut against the outer end part of a basic part near the back cover of the road map book 2 in order to attach one ends of a plurality of string-like bodies 13 to the string laying members 12 on the longitudinal one end side of the back cover covering part 8 and the other ends of a plurality of the string-like bodies 13 are detachably supported to the engaging part of the string laying members 12 on the longitudinal other end side of the back cover covering part 8. In addition, one end of a marker plate 16 is attached to the middle part of each of a plurality of the string-like bodies and the other end of the marker plate 16 is so constituted as to project beyond the side part of the road map book 2. Further, numerals 17 are printed one by one in regular order on the other ends of a plurality of the marker plates 16.
