A vertical bearing 2 is provided on a bed 1, and a vertically rotating shaft 3 to be driven by a motor 12 is supported by the vertical bearing 2, while an eccentric bed 5 with a bearing 4 set on the eccentric height to the axial center of the vertically rotating shaft 3 on its upper face is fixed on the upper end of the vertically rotating shaft 3, and a vibration plate 6 supported by the bearing 4 is set on the eccentric bed 5. One end of a grinding paper fixing frame 7 is provided to be opened and closed on a base point of the vibration plate 6, and a grinding face material 9 is fixed on the upper face of the vibration plate 6 in a manner of covering the grinding face material across an elastic face material 8. Also a guide stand 10 on which an opening 10a forming the surface exposed state of the grinding face material 9 on the vibration plate 6 is set above the base 1 with an interval, and a book B is held in the standing upright state on the guide stand 10, and a carrier 11 for moving in a reciprocating manner the book along a guide rail 21 is mounted on the guide stand 10.
