Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book holder holding a small-sized book of pocket edition to A4 size with four spring members each arranged at each of four upper and lower positions to pinching right and left pages of the book in an open state to allow a reader to read the book without using his or her hands except for changing pages.SOLUTION: A book holder comprises: a book holder base including a first front cover part, a rear cover part, and a second front cover part; a fastener part arranged in a center part of the rear cover part to hold the book holder base in an open state; four spring members attached to the first front cover part and the second front cover part; and other plate members. Each of the spring members has a belt shape configured to become an arc cross sectional shape in a linear state, and to become rounded when bent with its cross sectional salient side arranged on inner side. The spring member can be vertically moved to be suited to a size of the book. The invention provides the book holder capable of holding the book in the open state with the four spring members each formed in a half arc shape, arranged at total four upper and lower positions, protruding in the first front cover and the second front cover parts, so as to solve a conventional problem.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
