Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book turing device that prevents waste of labor and cost for books and printing when the primer coating on the printing page causes blocking.SOLUTION: The book turing device 1 includes: a book mounting part 10 to mount a book 50 thereon; a suction pad A30 that is rotatable so as to suck a page of the book and turn in the book opening direction; a suction pad B24 that is rotatable so as to suck the page turned by the suction pad A from the opposite side of the suction pad A and turns back in the book closing direction; and a reading part 40 that detects whether a plurality of pages are turned at the same time during page turning. The suction pad B is connected to a mechanism that controls a rotational torque so that the rotational torque generated while turning back the pages in the book closing direction is not greater than a predetermined upper limit value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
