Abstract:
To provide a bookbinder adapted to make a booklet including text paper desirably folded without separately connecting a folder.SOLUTION: A bookbinder is adapted to carry text paper carried through a branch path RBa up to a guide plate 24b staying in a first position and to abut a front end of the text paper against a first regulation plate 24c. A first fold is made while catching a bent portion of the text paper formed by the abutment against the first regulation plate 24c by a normally rotating first folding roller pair 24e. Next, in order to make a second fold, by reversely rotating the first folding roller pair 24e at a timing rotated by a predetermined rotation number, the second fold is made while catching a bent portion formed in part of the text paper by the abutment at the front end of the text paper against a second regulation plate 24f by a normally rotating second folding roller pair 24g. Then, the second folding roller pair 24g is reversely rotated at a timing rotated by a predetermined rotation number and the text paper on which the second fold has been made is carried by a discharge roller 24h and discharged to an alignment unit 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
