Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding device capable of applying an adhesive to an adhesive surface of a sheet bundle and a corner part for connecting an end surface and the adhesive surface in the sheet bundle thickness direction, with a simple mechanism.SOLUTION: A pasting unit provided in a bookbinding device comprises a paste application roller 2350. The paste application roller 2350 is arranged in an attitude of positioning an upper side part of a peripheral surface 2351A on the right side more than a lower side part. Paste 7 is supplied to the peripheral surface 2351A. The paste application roller 2350 rotates around the axis while reciprocatably moving in the lateral direction in an opposed state from the front side to a sheet bundle end surface 8B. The paste 7 sticking to the peripheral surface 2351A is applied over the lateral direction to the sheet bundle end surface 8B, a first corner part 8H and a second corner part 8I.
