Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding device capable of producing a high-quality booklet, without generating chips, since there is no need to cut cover paper.SOLUTION: A bookbinding device 3 forms a folding stripe F along the end side of a header by a folding stripe processing roller 30 of a cover folding stripe processing part 15 in an end part E of cover paper P2 of projecting from the header PSb side of a paper bundle PS wrapped in by the cover paper P2. Afterwards, the end part of the cover paper is folded in the reverse side of the cover paper along the folding stripe by cover folding processing parts 16a and 16b. Since there is no need to cut the cover paper in response to the paper bundle, two end sides of the header of the paper bundle and two end sides near to the header of the cover paper are made to coincide with each other, and a high-quality booklet B of a high texture of bookbinding can be manufactured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
