Abstract:
To provide a bookbinding device capable of improving bookbinding processing efficiency.SOLUTION: There is provided a bookbinding device comprising a retaining unit provided with a clamp 21 that retains a paper bundle and an adhesive applying unit that applies adhesive on the spine of the paper bundle retained by the clamp, and an operation unit 22 for manually performing operation that retains and releases the paper bundle using the clamp 21 is provided. Also, the operation unit 22 comprises a switch operation unit that switches between a state of retaining the paper bundle and a state of releasing the paper bundle.
