PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bookbinding excellent in spread property and bookbinding strength.SOLUTION: This invention relates to bookbinding where paper sheets are bonded with a cover with an adhesive and provides bookbinding, the adhesive being a foam article of wet curable polyurethane hot melt adhesive. The bookbinding of this invention is excellent in spread property and bookbinding strength. Using a foam article of wet curable polyurethane hot melt adhesive as the adhesive enables excellent flexibility to provide excellent coating performance even when an adhesive layer is increased in film thickness, and to provide excellent productivity in bookbinding because the adhesive layer is not uneven, but smooth.SELECTED DRAWING: None
