To provide a booklet turning-over apparatus capable of eliminating a habit such that a booklet is ready to return to an original state, when the booklet is introduced so that a bound part thereof becomes a head to turn over a cover and a desired page is turned over to discharge the booklet toward a next process, to perform normal discharge.
The booklet turning-over apparatus is constituted of a pair of drive rollers 201 and 203 driven by a motor so as to discharge the booklet 1 and stopped at a position holding a leading end and a rear end of the booklet, idle rollers 202 and 204, a lift plate member 215 held so as to be freely moved between a press position for pressing the back surface side of the bound part of the booklet and a standby position and having a rack 216 fixed thereto and a motor M9 for rotationally driving a pinion gear 217 meshed with a rack 216.
