PURPOSE: To provide a vibration-proofing, bore cutting holder for performing boring, grooving, thread cutting, etc., which can be cheaply and easily manufactured, in which vibration controlling action remarkably appears, and which is chatter-free.

CONSTITUTION: In a bore cutting holder in which a number of granular bodies, etc., are packed in a hollow part 3 provided longitudinally in the inside of the bore cutting holder which holds a cutting edge 2 on its top in order to control chattering vibration at the time when cutting is performed, spherical bodies 4, the outside diameter of each of which is close to the diameter of the hollow part, are packed in the hollow part 3 to elastically support the base side of a row of plural spherical bodies by means of a spring 5.
