Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the chips of the inner wall material of an existing conduit from scattering to contaminate the circumference or damaging the environment in the work for cutting and extending the inner wall of the conduit.
SOLUTION: This method comprises a process (a) for enlarging the inner wall of the existing conduit 16 with a cutting tool 40 while moving the cutting tool from one end of the conduit 16 to the other end thereof and a process (b) for circulating water between the internal space and external space of the conduit 16 by use of pipes 100, 110 or the like in the process (a), and recovering it in a disposal tank 120 or the like by exhausting the chips generated in the internal space of the conduit 16 together with the circulating water from the conduit 16.
