Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily correct generation of oscillation of a boring bar.
CONSTITUTION: A split 21 passing through in the radial direction rectangular to the moving direction of a tip knife edge is provided on a shank 1 in a boring bar, adjust screws 24, 24 to press the shank 1 are screwed on both sides positions sandwiching the split 21 of a holder 22 engaged with and fixed on the shank 1, movement to the adjust screws sides to press to the top end side of the shank 1 is generated when the shank 1 is pressed by the adjust screw 24 or the adjust screw 24 and deflection generated on the top end of the shank 1 is corrected.
