PURPOSE: To bore a fitting hole of a inflow pipe without forming a marking-off line in a body block, by a method wherein a moving device, rotary device and boring device are controlled by data of a boring position with an input device, data of a reference position with a detecting device and the diameter of a pipe with a measuring device.
CONSTITUTION: A fitting position of an inflow pipe 12 of a manhole main body 1 is calculated by making a reference position 0 of a body block 4 into a basic point beforehand and applied to a control device 36 through an input device. Then the block 4 is moved in an axial direction by a moving device 22, the reference position provided on the block 4 is detected by a detecting device 29 and the diameter of a pipe is measured by a measuring device 30. Then the block 4 is turned according to a distance or an angle of a circumferential direction of data of a boring position applied to the control device beforehand and moved up to a position of a boring device 32 in an axial direction. In this instance, when the block 4 is moved by a distance obtained by adding a distance of an axial direction of the data of the boring position applied to the control device beforehand to a distance L between the boring device 32 and detecting device 29, a position of the block 4 facing on the boring device 32 becomes the boring position of a fitting hole of the inflow pipe.
