Abstract:
To provide a novel boron compound capable of being used as a catalyst or the like for suppressing catalysts poisoning by a hydrogenation reaction even under a condition that carbon monoxide and/or carbon dioxide coexist at high concentration, and processing a reaction smoothly.SOLUTION: There is provided a novel boron compound represented by the following formula (1). In the formula (1), Xrepresents a hydrogen atom, or an electron-withdrawing group other than a fluoro group, Xrepresents an electron-withdrawing group other than the fluoro group, Rand Rare same or different and represent organic groups having 1 to 24 carbon atoms respectively, and the organic groups having 1 to 24 carbon atoms may have a substituent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
