Title:
BOTTLE CAN MADE OF METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003252330
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a bottle can made of a metal, having a good unsealing torque and capable of reliably obtaining resistance to corrosion at a threaded portion in spite of printing performed with ink containing expandable microcapsules.

In this bottle can, a position except a threaded portion 14 on the surface of a can base metal is printed with ink 21 having therein expandable microcapsules 22. For example, a portion lower than the threaded portion 14 is printed. The expandable microcapsules 22 included in the ink 21 confine therein gas or a low-boiling liquid and are globules having the properties of expanding their volumes when heated. Since the expandable microcapsules have light diffusion properties by heating, the surface of the can base metal can have a pattern excellent in a mat-like impression. After the ink 21 is applied to the surface of the can base metal, an over-varnish 23 is applied thereon.
