A box pallet so assembled as to be opened and closed, having the released upper part, having four peripheries and the bottom part surrounded with side plates 2A to 2D and bottom plates 3A, 3B, and having the bottom plates 3A, 3B divided into two is composed of an operating arm 8 so supported as to be vertically tilted in relation to the side plates 2A to 2D, a connecting member for connecting two divided bottom plates 3A, 3B to each other so that the opening and closing operations of the bottom plates 3A, 3B may be allowed, and an operating rod laterally mounted so as to be displaced on the tilt movement locus of the operating arm 8 and in a direction to be deviated from the tilt movement locus. This operating rod is so constituted as to maintain the closing states of the bottom plates 3A, 3B in the engaging state with the operating arm 8 and as to allow the opening state of the bottom plates 3A, 3B in the non-engaging state.
