PURPOSE: To prevent a loss in charging a drive power supply by providing a ten key pad input device for opening and closing an electric door, and installing a solar battery as a drive power supply for the ten key pad input device on the upper surface of a box body.
CONSTITUTION: When a valuable article 7 is put in a box body 1 for storage, a ten key pad input device 3 is first operated to turn on a power supply switch 11b, thereby supplying power to a control section 16 via a regulator section 10. In this case, current flows through a switching section 17 and, therefore, the switch 11b is kept on and the control section 16 maintains operational state. When the switching section 17 is turned off after the end of the operational state of the control section 16, the power supply switch 11b is turned off and power supply to the control section 16 is interrupted. On the other hand, only the power supply energy of a solar battery 4 actuates the solenoid section 9 of an electrical lock and the control section 16. When the key is not used, therefore, the control section 16 is kept inoperative, and charged power supply energy is used, only when the solenoid section 9 of the key and the control section 16 are actuated.
