Abstract:
To provide a bracket for orthodontia, of simple structure, low cost, and excellent cleanability, in which sliding performance of an arch wire to the bracket is secured to promote smooth move of teeth, so that desired orthodontic performance is achieved in a short period while reducing burden on a patient at the time of installation and continuous use.
In a base part 1 to be adhesion-fixed to the surface of the teeth, a slot 2 is provided horizontally through it. The slot 2 has a rectangular cross section, and the arch wire is of smaller diameter than the diameter of the slot, so that a play is provided between them.
