Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protruding felloe guard that does not require fastening to a lateral face of a bridge floor slab.SOLUTION: A bracket 10 having a top face 12 and a bottom face 14, and also has a floor slab section 11 positioned inside than a lateral face 32 of a floor slab 30 of a bridge and facing the floor slab 30, when the bracket is installed to the floor slab 30 with the bottom face 14 in opposition to the floor slab 30, a protruding part 13 positioned outside than the lateral face 32 and protruding from the floor slab 30, a floor slab side part 17 on the floor slab section 11 side extending in the bridge length direction of the bridge, a protruding side part 18 on the protruding part 13 side, and two side parts 16a, 16b extending in the bridge width direction of the bridge. The side parts 16a, 16b are provided with upper edges 22a, 22b across the boundary between the floor slab part 11 and the protruding part 13, so that the strength is enhanced against a load applied in the downward direction of the protruding part 13 when the bracket 10 is installed to the floor slab 30. Therefore, a protruding felloe guard 100 does not require fastening to the lateral face 32 of the floor slab 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
