Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a braid of a special cross-sectional shape having thickness and texture and ensure the rigidity or strength of a fiber-reinforced plastic structure.
CONSTITUTION: This apparatus for producing a braid is equipped with plural annular tracks (R1) to (R4) for forming double braid structural walls combined into a special arrangement such as an English letter type. Furthermore, the braid having the double structural walls is produced by using this apparatus and this method for producing the braid is to circulate bobbin.carriers in the annular tracks of this apparatus and form the braid having the double structural wall.
